#hennessyyy I like to think that Pac is still alive, and just decided to get low & away from all the bullshit swirling around him at that time. He was our shattered Sun, he was Black Royalty and his legacy proves that. I don’t like to think of anything in terms of “the now”. I look at the larger scope. Pac is Infinite, and in 100 years his name will shine as bright as it did when he was alive. Regardless of “technical skill” and all that bum shit niggas bicker about. I have a great sense of History, I’ve always been obsessed with it. It made me realize that everything is interrelated, politics, science, economic’s, fashion, everything… It’s all one and the same. And I apply that logic to my music/life… Things are their purest when you look at them with a child like eye and curiosity… From that perspective u can see the truth and connection behind the even most mundane things. From that perspective you can see yourself clearly and that’s the key to happiness. Being okay with EVERY DETAIL OF YOURSELF. I’m work in progress, but I’m fucking BRILLIANT today. I can weave in and out of singing love songs like “Cherry Raindrops” to songs like “Bend The Bloccs” with Gold Teeth and My Shirt Off… To personal records like “I should be sleeping” or “The Cauldron” because I don’t play a character… All those versions of myself are 100% me. Because I’m COMFORTABLE with MYSELF. I don’t fit in any of y'all boxes, only people in boxes are in dead. The media always try’s to make me something I’m not nor will ever be. But I don’t stress that. I’m so much more than them people will ever comprehend. That’s what “Black Genius” is about… Defying Boundaries and personal Purpose.
